HERE is a Web3 protocol to finance, distribute, and manage personal electric vehicles, globally.
Anyone with a phone can have their own electric vehicle.
4 billion people have smartphones, but only 2 billion of those people have vehicles, including all cars, motorcycles, and electric bikes, leaving billions of people dependent on others for motorized transportation that is often slow, expensive, unsafe, and polluting.
With rising incomes, ubiquitous connectivity, increasingly affordable, performant electric vehicles, and decentralized finance, personal transportation is being transformed the world over. HERE Protocol exists to accelerate this transformation and make it more inclusive and sustainable. Our ultimate goal is to deploy 100,000,000 personal electric vehicles, starting with e-bikes and scooters.
HERE takes the technologies of electric scooter and bike sharing, including apps and remote vehicle tracking and control, and applies them to meeting demand for ownership. The same technologies that allow someone to rent an electric bike for a few minutes can also allow someone to rent an electric bike for a few days or months or even years at a fraction of the cost of shared bikes.
HERE is founded by one of the early leaders in electric vehicle sharing and has raised capital from funds, founders, and leaders from mobility tech and Web3. The company will launch its first fleet in 2022. More details are available for applicants invited to interview.
