Senior Engineer - Embedded Hardware

Key Responsibilities

1. As a component owner, your primary responsibility is to design, develop and test circuits (on-board power supplies, analog and digital circuits etc.) for automotive embedded hardware components (BMS, VCU, Display/cluster, Telematics).
2. Analyze design as per system requirements and components specifications.
3. Perform calculations (electrical ratings, mechanical durability and life) and select components (passives, discretes and actives).
4. Perform circuit simulations and analysis in SPICE software for POC and ideation.
5. Expertise in schematic capture and documentation of design including DFMEA and Internal test reports.
6. Carry out board bring up, testing, troubleshooting and initial software flashing.
7. Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure timely development of the product.

Ideal Candidate

1. B.E/ B.Tech in EEE/ECE.
2. 3 to 8 years relevant industry experience designing automotive electronics.
3. Experience in the EV industry is preferred.
4. Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals (analog/digital design, signal/power integrity, etc.).
5. Must have hands-on experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug and validation.
6. Comfortable in a lab environment using oscilloscopes, power supplies, current probes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, etc.
7. Expertise in Altium Designer software is a mandate.
8. Experience working with mechanical design and software development teams.
