(Senior) Strategist (all genders) - Corporate Development & Innovation
Join us as a (Senior) Strategist (all genders) in our Corporate Development & Innovation team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!
Autonomous mobility is being defined right now, and MOIA intends to help define it. As a Senior Strategist in our Corporate Development & Innovation team, you will own work that directly shapes how MOIA grows, partners, and funds its path to driverless mobility at scale.
Our department drives the strategic advancement of MOIA as a leading tech company in autonomous driving. We sit at the central interface between corporate strategy, technological innovation, and business development, and we play a key role in securing the company's long term competitiveness. Our focus is company development, expanding existing business models, and unlocking scalable, data driven models for driverless mobility and delivery. That includes building strategic partnerships with technology and mobility companies and owning funding activities and capital measures. Through an interdisciplinary, innovation driven approach, we make a decisive contribution to MOIA's competitive strength and actively shape the future of autonomous mobility. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and direct exposure to senior leadership.
What you will do
- Drive strategic partnerships with technology and mobility companies, from identifying the right counterparts to shaping and structuring the deals that move MOIA forward.
- Take ownership of workstreams within funding activities and capital measures, building the analyses and materials that underpin them.
- Develop the case for expanding existing business models and unlocking scalable, data driven models for driverless mobility and delivery.
- Lead market, competitive, and technology analyses end to end, and turn them into clear recommendations on where MOIA should act, where the risks sit, and which opportunities are worth the bet.
- Build the decision materials that go in front of senior management, the group, and investors, and stand behind the thinking in the room.
What will help you to fulfill your role
- A strong academic foundation in business, industrial engineering, management, or a comparable field.
- Several years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, corporate strategy, or a comparable high performance environment, with a track record of owning complex topics rather than supporting from the side.
- The ability to take an ambiguous, high stakes question and structure it into a clear, defensible recommendation.
- Commercial instinct for partnerships, business models, and funding, paired with the rigor to back it with analysis.
- Communication that lands with senior audiences, in writing and in the room.
- Confident command of PowerPoint and Excel as thinking and storytelling tools.
- Business fluent German and English, minimum C1, written and spoken.
- A high sense of ownership, sound judgment, and the maturity to operate independently while bringing the team along.
Nice-to-have:
- An understanding of mobility, tech trends, or autonomous driving.
- Interest in or initial experience with AI technologies and their potential applications in a business context.
