We’re currently seeking an experienced Assembler to help us build and scale a high-performing manufacturing operation from the ground up.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Assembler will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality pontoon boats. Working as part of a dynamic manufacturing team, this individual will be responsible for the assembly of various components, systems, and structures ensuring all boats meet Flamingo Marine's rigorous standards for craftsmanship and performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and skilled individual to contribute to a growing company and help shape the future of the marine industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble boat parts and components including structures, decks, hardware, electrical systems, plumbing, and soft goods.
Executes the production schedule and work instructions.
Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and to optimize production processes.
Report any issues, defects, or safety concerns to team leads.
Leverage MES to maintain accurate production records and material usage.
Perform other duties as assigned by the production manager or team lead.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous experience in boat building, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly is a plus.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Ability to read and understand technical work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and take direction.
