Overview

We are looking for a Senior Total Rewards Analyst passionate about making a positive impact by delivering a future-focused, market-driven, equitable, and scalable compensation program. The compensation program we are building now will act as the foundation for compensation management for decades to come. Therefore, the Senior Total Rewards Analyst will play a vital role in the review, design, development, and implementation of global compensation practices and programs.

This position is open to remote, San Francisco bay area preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our Compensation Analyst to lead our data-driven and equitable pay practices to support our broad recruiting efforts and to reinforce Pay for Performance
  • Support setting the company’s compensation and benefits strategy
  • Partner with our Benefits Team to analyze and identify trends and enhancements to our benefits offerings
  • Meet with various groups across the organization to understand business needs and provide education on our total rewards programs and processes
  • Monitor any regulatory updates specific to compensation and implement new policies and procedures as needed
  • Partner with the Finance Team on our annual compensation budget

Required

  • Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Finance, or Human Resources
  • 6+ years in Human Resources
  • 5+ years of compensation experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel
  • Systems mindset: You seek to understand the interdependencies and downstream impacts of your work.
  • Analytical and reporting skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of labor laws related to compensation and benefits

Desired

  • 5+ years of experience in a large company setting in the technology sector
  • Significant experience with database management (knowledge and tools) 
  • Skill using statistics and modeling software (SPSS, JASP, R, Python, etc.)

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $115,100-$188,300. The compensation package offered will be determined by location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
