Overview

Working as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer in our Santa Cruz location, you will be responsible for the coordination efforts surrounding the development, design, implementation, deployment and training activities for Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions. Using your knowledge of application and report development in a structured workspace, you will work with our design, engineering, manufacturing, finance, logistics, and quality teams to oversee the requirements gathering, discovery, development and deployment of continuous improvement projects enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop custom functionality, reports and dashboards that will support, integrate with, and report from our enterprise business applications
  • Build cohesive relationships with certification, engineering, manufacturing and business teams to build long-term strategies that align design of the application with long term needs
  • Collaborate with process owners and subject matter experts to develop requirements and use cases for desired application functionality
  • Understand capabilities and identify risks and opportunities of deploying new functionality
  • Provide level 3 support, create and conduct instructor lead application training
  • Create and review desktop process instructions for supported application functionality
  • Work with support personnel to establish and maintain continued functionality of application interfaces
  • Troubleshoot data integrity issues as needed
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work projects through to completion with the possibility of rapidly shifting priorities
  • Ability to work on many projects in parallel

Required

  • B.S. in relevant discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of working experience with the development of Microsoft Power Platforms
  • Exceptional knowledge and working experience with the Power Automation, Power BI, Power Apps, and SharePoint
  • Working experience with Microsoft SQL
  • Project management skills with a track record of applying program and change management principles, practices and techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well developed interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products
  • *****Althought remote the ideal candidate for this position would be expected to work during Pacific time zone to ensure they are able to interact with other members of the team and to participate calls and departmental meetings.**

Desired

  • Microsoft Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Developer Certification desired
  • Python experience is a plus
  • Understanding of financial, supply chain and manufacturing operational process flows within Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations
  • Experience mapping data elements between applications
  • Experience with FAA requirements and AS9100
  • Experience with Web Services and REST API's

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $72,400-$120,500. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
