Designation : Electrical Integration Engineer
Job Description:
- Develop procedures to test vehicle/user functionality and protections
- Develop test methods for standardised validation of multi-component software and hardware interactions
- Plan & execute integration test activities for each hardware & software release
- Understand/Define/Validate component software flow and boundary architecture
- Build validation test benches to validate software & electrical issues for each release
- Participate/Lead Design Reviews for changes in all components part of the vehicle system from a system/interaction perspective
- A successful candidate will identify the majority of the issues at the design stage
- Ability to communicate/understand an engineering issue and its product/timeline impact and drive design teams to make necessary changes
- Develop a library of failure cases and create architecture design rule book as a basis for future vehicle architectures
- Lead test engineers to learn and carry out the above activities
Prior experience:
- Must have experience working on CAN bus and CAN based instruments
- Worked on integrating complex system with multiple ECUs and debugging CAN/electrical interactions between various components
- Can understand/translate vehicle usage scenarios to component/rig based test cases
- Understand V design cycle of component development
- A good candidate respects engineering/logic and not just experience
- Be transparent in communication and take ownership of success & failures
