Overview:
May Mobility is looking for a highly skilled Paralegal to work with a leading autonomous vehicle technology company. You will provide legal and strategic expertise to various legal and business teams across the organization. You will partner with other legal staff as well as internal business leaders and outside counsel. This role reports to the Manager of Legal Affairs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing, revising, and negotiating confidentiality agreements and other contractual agreements with clients, vendors and other parties. Negotiating various contract
- Drafting documents and correspondence. Familiarity with professional service agreements, SaaS agreements, partnership agreements.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, and project management skills in a legal department or similar environment.
- Performing other functions such as contract summarizing, proofreading, redlining, and organizing and maintaining reference materials and databases, including equity programs (CARTA) and contract management systems.
- Assists with managing delivery of work to, and status reports from outside counsel.
- Provide periodic administrative support for the Legal Department.
- Maintaining Company contract management system.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
- Get energized by the challenge of creating process and structure where some doesn’t currently exist.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Paralegal Certificate, and/or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of paralegal experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Individual must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, prioritize matters and meet deadlines.
- Must be deadline oriented and organized to ensure positive stakeholder experience.
- Excel in organization and ability to provide regular and effective communication of status and prioritization of tasks.
- Demonstrate ability to provide effective administrative support, communication and follow-through managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
