About the role:

As an AVO Supervisor, you'll be providing daily guidance and support to your AVO team including necessary feedback to site management, operations supervisors, fleet maintenance, and engineering teams aimed at improving our groundbreaking automated driving technology while meeting customers’ product delivery needs. We are looking for a highly motivated supervisors to help us manage, test, and improve performance to ensure success of our fleet vehicles.

This role is onsite at our Dallas, TX office!

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate team to ensure on-time and in-full customer deliveries
  • Conduct ride-along trips with AVOs to evaluate performance, train and analyze behaviors aligned to safety, quality, and customer service support
  • Review, audit, and set standards for staff (shift data, vehicle data, AVO)
  • Interview, select and train new team members
  • Design and manage staff schedules to optimize hours, monitor overtime usage and validate payroll hours accuracy
  • Track, input, analyze, and report data from operations-related software applications
  • Actively participate in weekly management meetings
  • Support teams after hours to address all concerns
  • Coordinate AVO's safety and maintenance related related activity to the appropriate teams
  • Track completion against vehicle maintenance schedule to ensure services are completed on time
  • Inspect and monitor pre and post shift vehicle inspections
  • Conduct vehicle audits for any mechanical, physical or component issues, and report for support 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills including people and customer relationship management experience
  • Valid US driver's license, clean driving record and safe driving habits (CDL license is preferred)
  • Clean background check, drug screen and DMV Motor Vehicle Record check
  • Ability to operate trucks in our fleet (generally, Class 3 to Class 6 vehicles) 
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including taking action after scheduled shift
  • Ability to be meticulous, organized, and proactive
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills or the ability to learn successfully
  • Good mechanical aptitude and basic mechanical skills (preferred)
