Currently, the company is in the product development stage with prototypes being tested on the road. The vehicle will go on sale on Sep-22. River is backed by marquee international investors - Israel based Maniv mobility and US based Trucks VC. These are mobility focused funds backed by some of the big names in the automotive industry. River is founded by experienced automotive professionals - Vipin George is ex-Lead Designer at Honda, Ultraviolette and Aravind Mani is ex-VP at Ultraviolette, an EV startup backed by TVS Motors. River is a fast growing company with an R&D team of 60 engineers now. The company targets to be 250-300 employees by the end of 2022.

Requirement
Experience : 5 - 8 years
Skill Set : Electric 2W, L-category vehicle homologation, Vehicle Type Certification, Wheel, Brake and Battery homologation
Education : Bachelors in Engineering .
Role
- Understand vehicle and component homologation requirements for Indian market for L-category
- Breakdown the homologation requirements and ensure adherence in component
- Plan the component/vehicle testing and conformance for homologation to meet vehicle release timeline
- Plan homologation goals into vehicle release iterations/timelines
- Co-ordinate with testing agencies to complete the homologation/pre-homologation tests (vehicle/component)
- Understand FAME-2 regulations and track adherence to the same
- Come up with solutions to meet product/design requirements while adhering to homologation requirements
- Identify and drive requirements with engineering at design stages and solve potential issues collaboratively
- Ideally someone who has homologated a product line before
- Build a long term plan for the team to track and monitor changes (ECR/ECN) post SoP and recertification
- Provide certification inputs and provide feedback to the new program/business planning
