Senior Product Manager, Data Platform

Zendrive’s mission is to “make roads safer using data and analytics”. To make that a reality, we make a smartphone-first platform that:-

Automatically detects vehicle collisions and accidents and helps save lives

• Understands and predicts driving behaviour, and improves driver safety
• Helps drivers and fleets save time and money 

The Data Platform Product Manager at Zendrive will be responsible for owning all aspects of data management, from building a scalable data platform to ensuring user privacy and security to building easy-to-use data visualisations. This job involves partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver solutions that scale gracefully as business scales non-linearly and help both our customers and Zendrive executives get insights into their businesses with ease. We are looking for a self-driven and organised person who brings expertise in building large data platforms that can scale gracefully as business grows.

What we want you to do:  

• Identify key needs for both internal and external users of Zendrive’s data. Use them to inform data strategy at all levels
• Create and execute on a detailed product roadmap to execute this strategy
• Partner with Engineering teams and other product managers to steer the organisation to work on the right priorities
• Keep intense focus on quality and scalability of the products that you build
• Define and enforce data security requirements
• Partner with Sales teams to stay continuously abreast of business needs as well as train them on our technical capabilities 

What you need to have:  

• 6-9 years of prior experience in product management
• Prior experience of working on big data platforms (building pipelines, APIs, data quality, data security, data engineering etc.)
• Engineering degree and an analytical mindset. MBA is a plus
• Experience in product ownership and delivery
