Joby Aviation is seeking a full time Network Cabling Technician to join our team. You will be a valued team member helping to provide a great experience for our staff members This a great opportunity to join a company that is trying to change the world.

  • Knowledge of labeling, pulling and dressing Cat 6/Cat 6e cable, access control cable and fiber optic, and previous Network cabling or Low Voltage experience (Network Installer, Cable Installer, Access control installer etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with installing j-hooks, ladder racks and cable tray, and working in MDF/IDF environments may be required
  • Communication skills: Basic written and verbal communications skills are essential for documentation, report writing, and rapport building.
  • Performs Low Voltage cabling installations, including New Commercial Data, Access Control, Fiber Optic, Fire Alarm Cable, and HVAC Cable
  • Installation of Access control equipment, data equipment, including data racks, patch panels, cable trays, etc.
  • Performs termination, labeling and testing of Cat6, Cat6e cabling.
  • Operates a variety of tools, such as hand tools, power tools, ladders, scissor lifts, and test equipment
  • Keeps cable neatly dressed in and bundled while maintaining safety standard
  • Pursuant to various local, state, and federal regulations, you must show proof of your full COVID-19 vaccination status prior to your start date. Exemption requests are available for bona fide religious and medical circumstances.


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); OR six months related experience
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools required for Low Voltage Cabling
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Must have your own transportation
