Overview: 

Wise Systems is searching for a highly motivated and organized candidate with outstanding people skills for the Event Coordinator position. This position will report to the Senior Marketing Manager. Working with Sales and Marketing stakeholders, this person will ensure the marketing organization’s event strategy and execution is up to industry standards and generates an impact that will fill our top-of-funnel pipeline. 

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for researching, planning and managing our events calendar, managing vendor relationships, assisting with internal events, sticking to deadlines and budgets, networking, and delivering event briefing objectives. Your creativity, organizational skills and vision will assist our organization’s growth through events that positively impact our business goals and brand voice. 

The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time-management. The noteworthy Event Coordinator should reinforce customer-to-business relations, improve the organization's image, and effectively deliver on event experiences. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Networking with peers and like-minded individuals on behalf of Wise Systems
  • Brainstorming and implementing event plans and conceptsHandling budgeting and invoicing
  • Coordinating travel, lodging and expenses for event participants
  • Facilitating speaker and sponsor exhibitor trackingServing as the liaison between vendors and Wise Systems
  • Handling event day-of logistics like supply ordering, booth set-up and take-down
  • Providing senior management of goals and impact
  • Providing event feedback surveys and internal retrospectives
  • Training external stakeholders on event processes
  • Evaluating industry best practices and implementing on an ongoing basis
  • Travel required

Requirements: 

  • 1-2 years in event management environment
  • Degree in public relations, communications, or hospitality
  • Willing and likes to travel often for trade shows and internal meetings
  • Communication and marketing skills
  • Project management experience
  • Trade Show experience
  • Highly organized
  • Multi-tasker
  • Time management
  • Event software is a plus!
  • Expert interpersonal skills
  • Risk management experience
