Responsibilities:

Building and leading an end-to-end quality practice and culture, including building a SW quality organization from the ground up and integrating it with an existing HW quality organization to guarantee an exceptional customer experience.

  • Create and implement a roadmap of testing and automation of the product releases including development of test plans and adherence to release criteria.
  • Create processes and tools that help shape the quality framework for the entire organization.
  • Manage the end-to-end quality experience which starts on the camera device deployed in the vehicle and extends to the cloud services quality experience, including ensuring that the product can scale, and delivers a low-latency experience
  • Owns and reports on quality metrics across the Product suite
  • Build a highly performant and diverse team of SW QA/Test Engineers and Data Quality Analysts that can deliver the product and data with the highest standards.
  • Manage an existing HW quality team
  • Represent QA Leadership within a cross-functional team.
  • Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to understand product vision and requirements.
  • Set and drive expectations around quality for major releases grounded in solid customer impact and product understanding.
  • Champion for QA team’s participation early in the planning and development stages to secure the successful implementation of all projects.
  • Participate to external or internal audits, customers meetings for topics related to System and Software quality on a need basis
  • Evaluate the current Product development and Management practices by performing Discovery Analysis, Internal Audits, Assessments and reviews

Qualifications

  • Hiring at all levels, managing and growing other managers.
  • large-scale data systems and familiarity with databases.
  • Testing automation software 
  • data projects and ensuring the highest levels of data integrity and quality.
  • CI/CD systems and delivering quality with short release cycles.
  • Good understanding of embedded systems / software / hardware development fundamentals.
  • You can scope, schedule, and resource multiple complex projects in collaboration with other partners such as Product and Sales.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You can successfully influence teams and team members not reporting to you.
  • Leader, but able and willing to be hands-on, dig into details when necessary
  • 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5+ years managing Quality / Testing teams in an Enterprise SaaS environment
