 A Solutions/Presales Engineer is a critical role that drives the evaluation stage of our sales process and evangelizes Zendrive’s cutting-edge solutions to prospects, customers, and partners. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, Product Management, and Engineering teams to pursue and close large enterprise accounts. If you enjoy building relationships with executives and technical stakeholders and excel at presenting complex technical concepts with simplicity and elegance, this is a perfect opportunity for you. 

We’re seeking a candidate who is highly motivated and curious, understands mobile (iOS OR Android) development and SDK integrations, possesses exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, and thrives working in fast-paced environments. 

This is a remote (work from home) position that can be based anywhere within the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Sales team to pursue large enterprise accounts.
  • Engage with prospects and customers to understand their business, functional and technical requirements, address questions and objections, and demonstrate the value of Zendrive’s solutions. 
  • Lead customer presentations and demonstrations on Zendrive’s technical capabilities and integration process. 
  • Lead the configuration, implementation, and execution of PoCs and customer trials.
  • Serve as the lead for RFP/RFQ responses to illustrate the benefits of using Zendrive technology.
  • Contribute to SOWs, change requests, and other contractual deliverables.
  • Advocate and be the "voice of the customer" to influence Zendrive’s product roadmap.

Key Technical Requirements

  • Experience developing on Android and/or iOS platforms.
  • Familiarity with mobile app development processes, including integrating SDK’s across multiple operating systems a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: Python, scripting, JavaScript, XML, REST, JSON Java.
  • Familiar with AWS Cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role (i.e., Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Consultant). 
  • Experience with enterprise customers is required; experience with Insurance or Automotive customers a bonus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude and a proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Business analysis and problem-solving skills. 
  • Intellectual curiosity and an appetite to understand not only our technologies but also the competitive landscape.
  • Comfort working in situations of uncertainty. 
  • Proficient with enterprise software architecture including applications, middleware, databases, analytics, hardware, authentication/identity.
  • Ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations post-COVID (up to 40%).
  • B.S. degree in technical (Engineering, Computer Science) or business degree.
