Senior Software Engineer
Compound Eye enables cars and other robots to understand their surroundings in 3D and in real-time using only passive sensors like cameras. We capture more information about the environment than active sensors like radar and lidar for a fraction of the cost. Our mission is to bring superhuman senses to existing vehicles and to enable mass production of fully autonomous machines.
As a software engineer at Compound Eye you'll contribute to design and development of various core technologies and products, such as real-time perception, 3D reconstruction, visual-inertial odometry, and more. You will:
- Contribute to the development of state-of-the-art techniques and algorithms for robotic perception
- Write production code in C++ for a variety of platforms, including GPUs
- Help to recruit and potentially lead a team of similarly-qualified engineers
To thrive in this role you have:
- A good grasp of linear algebra
- Extensive experience writing production quality code in C++
- Familiarity with highly parallel programming frameworks such as CUDA, Metal or OpenCL
Direct experience in computer vision is not required!
