As an Senior Android developer at Nauto you will be responsible for delivering cutting edge apps features to our customer base. You will be blending the results of machine learning and AI algorithms to produce an enjoyable experience for our flagship apps.


  • Design and build applications for the Android platform with video capture features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization


  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK with proficiency in Java/Kotlin.
  • Strong knowledge of the different versions of Android, and best practices dealing with different video capture techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of the different versions of Android, and best practices dealing with different screen sizes
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers a plus
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
